Overview
- Assist HVAC technicians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
- Transport and set up tools, materials, and equipment at job sites.
- Help in the assembly and installation of HVAC components such as ducts, pipes, and wiring.
- Perform basic preventive maintenance tasks, including cleaning and replacing filters.
- Ensure work areas are clean, organized, and safe by following safety protocols and procedures.
- Assist in diagnosing issues with HVAC systems and reporting findings to senior technicians.
- Learn and adhere to industry standards and local building codes.
- Provide support in testing HVAC systems to ensure proper functionality.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors about project progress and needs.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
**HVAC certification Is a plus **
Skills and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic understanding of HVAC systems and components.
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to follow instructions and work under the supervision of experienced technicians.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating materials.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Willingness to adhere to safety standards and regulations at all times.
