Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Revit Designer to support engineering and production teams by creating and modifying technical drawings, schematics, and 3D designs. This role will work closely with engineers, Revit operators, and production staff to ensure projects are completed accurately and on schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Create, update, and modify drawings using Revit software
- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications
- Develop electrical schematics and detailed design packages
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to meet project deadlines
- Perform design reviews to ensure accuracy and quality
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment
- Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams
Skills and Experience
Requirements:
- Degree and 2+ years of related design experience preferred
- Experience using Revit, including 3D designs and families
- Knowledge of industrial/commercial electrical design
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Preferred Experience:
- 4+ years of engineering experience
- Electrical Journeyman Certification
- Experience with protective relaying schematics, control buildings, or communication shelter design
