What you'll do as a Bilingual Inside Sales Associate:
- Assist walk-in customers, contractors, and homeowners at the sales counter
- Answer customer inquiries by phone and email
- Prepare quotes, pricing, and material estimates for projects like decks, fences, sheds, and stairs
- Enter customer orders accurately into the ERP system
- Coordinate deliveries and special-order products
- Build relationships with customers through outstanding service and product knowledge
- Work closely with warehouse and outside sales teams to ensure customer satisfaction
- Maintain inventory, stock displays, and sales floor organization
- Operate the cash register and process invoices, credits, and returns
- Follow all company safety procedures
Skills and Experience
What You'll Bring as a Preferred Candidate:
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred)
- 6 months of sales, retail, or customer service experience
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- Comfortable learning and using ERP software
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail and basic math skills
- Knowledge of building materials or the construction industry is a plus
- Ability to stand and walk throughout most of the workday
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally
