About the Role
Onin Staffing is seeking an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join a well-established, growing manufacturing company in Vance, AL. This position is responsible for budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, reporting, and partnering with Operations and Corporate leadership to drive sound business decisions. The role also supports month-end close, financial analysis, audits, and process improvements.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain company budgets and forecasts.
- Complete month-end close activities and ensure financial transactions are accurately recorded.
- Analyze budget and forecast variances and provide recommendations to improve financial performance.
- Support business planning and strategic initiatives through financial analysis.
- Partner with Operations and Corporate teams to provide financial insight and business recommendations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Assist with internal and external audits.
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and operational efficiency.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Skills and Experience
Qualifications Required
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of progressive accounting or finance experience.
- Strong budgeting and forecasting experience.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working with ERP systems.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.
Preferred
- MBA or CPA.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
