What you'll do as: Invoice Clerk
- Review, verify, and process invoices accurately and efficiently
- Match purchase orders, invoices, and receiving reports to ensure proper payment
- Enter and maintain vendor data in the accounting system
- Prepare and process electronic transfers and check payments
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve invoice discrepancies
- Maintain accurate and organized AP files and records
- Attend bi-weekly vendor meetings to address questions, discrepancies, or payment issues
- Assist with month-end closing by preparing AP reports and schedules
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Skills and Experience
- Strong math and analytical skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Comfortable with repetitive tasks and a structured workflow
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time during certain tasks (e.g., filing, sorting, or meetings)
- Excellent communication skills for vendor interactions
