Overview
We have several opportunities available in Manor, TX in Quality Control for a manufacturing and logistics company. These are 12 hour shifts with pay rates in the $19-20/hr range. Below is a breakdown of the shifts available:
A Shift
- Sunday, Monday, Tuesday: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Wednesday: 6:00 PM – 12:00 AM
B Shift
- Sunday, Monday, Tuesday: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
- Wednesday: 6:00 PM – 12:00 AM
C Shift
- Wednesday: 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM
- Thursday, Friday, Saturday: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
D Shift
- Wednesday: 12:00 AM – 6:00 AM
- Thursday, Friday, Saturday: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Individuals will be responsible for:
- Inspecting and measuring built products to ensure accurate dimensions
- Documenting inaccuracies and suggesting corrective measures
- Using specialized tools for inspection
- Participating in ISO audits
- Communicating with the Production department
- Review Specifications, standards, and/or test plans of customer designs, and report feedback to the management.
- Give feedback to the Production department regarding any errors or non-conformances in the assembly process verbally or through written documentation
Skills and Experience
- Experience in wood product manufacturing
- Prior hands on Quality Controls experience
- Knowledge of inspection planning and processes
- Ability to read technical drawings and specifications - Must have
- Must wear steel toe shoes/boots and other required personal protection equipment. (we provide safety vest and safety glasses.)
- Proficient in the MS Office (Word, Excel) and ability to learn proprietary software.
- Ability to use measurement instruments and testing tools (i.e., measuring tape, calipers, etc.).
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus but not required
- Must pass pre-employment criminal background check
- Must pass pre-employment drug test
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
