What You’ll Do - Depending on the department you join, your responsibilities may include:
Paint Line:
- Hang metal parts on the paint line using racks or hooks
- Remove painted parts and stack or bundle finished products
- Help move and organize materials throughout the production process
- Use steel banding equipment to secure finished products
- Assist with cleaning paint booths, tanks, hooks, and work areas as needed
- Report equipment issues or quality concerns to the team leader
Shipping:
- Handle, stack, bundle, and prepare finished products for shipment
- Use steel banding equipment to safely secure products
- Move materials throughout the shipping area
- Help maintain an organized and efficient work area
- Work with the team to safely handle large or heavy products
- Follow safety procedures and quality standards
All Material Handlers:
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Work as part of a team to keep products and materials moving efficiently
- Follow instructions, safety procedures, and quality standards
- Complete an on-site banding test to demonstrate tool proficiency
Skills and Experience
What You'll Bring as a Preferred Candidate:
- Previous material handling, manufacturing, paint line, powder coating, or shipping experience is a plus, but not required
- Ability to stand, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs. throughout the shift
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and follow safety procedures
- Comfortable working with hand tools and equipment
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure; measuring test required
- Ability to complete an on-site banding test to demonstrate tool proficiency
