What You’ll Do as a Paint Line Production Worker
You’ll support daily paint line operations by preparing, handling, and securing metal parts as they move through the production process.
- Hang metal parts on the paint line using racks or hooks
- Remove painted parts and stack or bundle them for shipment
- Use steel banding equipment to secure finished products
- Work with a team to safely handle large or heavy items
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Assist with cleaning paint booths, tanks, and hooks as needed
- Report equipment issues or quality concerns to the team leader
- Complete an on-site banding test to demonstrate tool proficiency
Skills and Experience
What You'll Bring as a Preferred Candidate:
- Previous paint line, powder coating, material handling, or manufacturing experience
- Physically able to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs. throughout your shift
- Team player with a solid attendance record
- Willing to follow safety procedures and work with hand tools/equipment
- Ability to read a tape measure accurately (measuring test required)
- Ability to pass a banding test on-site to demonstrate tool proficiency
