We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Assurance Operator to join our team in Trussville, AL. In this role, you will help ensure that all incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products meet strict quality standards. If you have a sharp eye for detail, experience in manufacturing, and a commitment to continuous improvement, we’d love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily inspections of incoming goods and materials
- Document conforming and non-conforming items accurately
- Approve or reject products based on set parameters and tolerances
- Communicate non-conformance to internal teams and assist in resolution
- Assist in quarantining defective goods to prevent use
- Inspect parts using precision measurement tools
- Test machines and product output regularly for defects or inconsistencies
- Identify and investigate non-conforming incidents
- Audit inventory locations to ensure accuracy
- Maintain detailed records of inspections and final products
- Ensure operators complete required documentation and logs
- Assist with calibration of equipment and measuring tools
- Collect and ship samples to customers when required
- Support ongoing ISO 9001 quality compliance efforts
