Overview
We are seeking a high-integrity, Bilingual (Spanish/English) Quality Inspector and Client Liaison to act as the bridge between our manufacturing operations in Mexico and our customer site in Cleveland, NC. This is a critical "boots-on-the-ground" role requiring sharp technical eyes and professional communication skills
- On-Site Inspection: Conduct daily quality checks during a 2-hour window (between 7 AM and 12 PM).
- Containment: Personally perform sorting or containment activities if quality issues are identified.
- Client Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for the customer’s quality team. You will help negotiate or dispute quality issues under the guidance of the parent company.
- Bilingual Reporting: Communicate findings, photos, and data back to the leadership team in Mexico in Spanish.
- Emergency Support: While rare, you must be available to visit the plant for urgent quality issues that cannot wait until the next scheduled shift.

Technical & Quality Expertise
- Quality Inspection: Proficiency in identifying manufacturing defects and performing detailed part inspections.
- Containment & Sorting: Ability to manually sort, contain, and rework components to maintain production standards.
- Technical Reporting: Experience documenting findings with photos and data to provide clear evidence for the parent company.
Communication & Language
- Full Bilingual Fluency: Professional-level proficiency in both Spanish and English (written and verbal) is required to bridge communication between the Mexico-based parent company and the local NC plant.
- Negotiation: The ability to professionally dispute quality issues and negotiate "use-as-is" or "rework" decisions with customer representatives.
Professional Requirements
- Independence: Ability to work with minimal supervision during the 2-hour daily window while staying in close contact with remote leadership.
- Flexibility: While the schedule is part-time, the candidate must be available for rare, urgent on-call visits if a critical quality issue arises.
- Transportation: Reliable transportation to the Cleveland, NC plant location is a must.
Preferred Candidate Might Also Have:
- Previous experience as a Quality Lead or Liaison in an automotive or industrial manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with interpreting technical drawings or quality specifications provided by engineering teams.
Requirements
- Fluency in Spanish and English: Must be able to read, write, and speak both languages fluently to communicate technical details between Mexico and the US.
- Quality Background: Experience in manufacturing quality inspection or sorting is preferred.
- Negotiation Skills: Ability to remain professional and firm when discussing quality standards with customers.
- Flexibility: Reliable transportation to the Cleveland, NC plant and the ability to be "on-call" for rare urgent issues.
