Overview
Operate industrial sewing machines to sew fabric, vinyl, leather, and upholstery materials
Read and follow work orders, patterns, and production instructions
Inspect materials and finished products for quality and accuracy
Maintain production goals while ensuring high-quality workmanship
Perform basic machine adjustments and report equipment issues as needed
Measure, cut, and align materials accurately
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Follow company safety procedures and manufacturing standards
Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals
Skills and Experience
- Previous sewing machine or upholstery experience preferred
- Experience operating industrial sewing machines is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Strong attention to detail and hand-eye coordination
- Ability to read measurements and follow instructions
- Able to lift materials and stand for extended periods
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic required
