Are you looking for a stable, long-term construction career without
having to work in the rain, mud, or extreme cold? We are hiring General Inside Construction teammates to help build premium, high-quality portable buildings and sheds inside a local manufacturing facility.
What You Will Do:
As an Inside Construction Teammate, you will work in a fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing plant. You will help build sheds, cabins, and outdoor structures from the ground up. Duties include:
- Measuring, cutting, and framing wood structures.
- Using hand tools, power drills, miter saws, and pneumatic nail guns.
- Installing siding, roofing panels, shingles, doors, and trim.
- Assisting with painting/staining and moving lumber as needed.
Please note: The facility is heated in the winter, but is not cooled in the summer and can be drafty. Teammates should dress comfortably and appropriately for the weather.
Skills and Experience
What We Are Looking For:
- The Tape Measure Test: No prior manufacturing or carpentry experience is required—we will train you! However, you must be able to accurately read a tape measure. We will administer a quick, simple tape-measure test at our office during your interview.
- Rock-Solid Attendance: Reliability is our top priority. We need teammates who show up on time every day. (Policy: No more than 3 tardies or absences in your first 30 days).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50–75 lbs throughout your shift.
- Language: Bilingual/Spanish-speaking candidates are highly encouraged to apply!
- Safety First: Ability to attend weekly safety meetings every Monday and wear required PPE (steel-toed boots are required
