General Poultry Labor

Overview

  • Load, unload, and move materials and products manually or using equipment
  • Assist with setup and breakdown of workstations or production lines
  • Clean and maintain work areas, tools, and equipment
  • Follow safety protocols and report hazards or equipment issues
  • Support skilled tradespeople or machine operators as needed
  •  Perform basic maintenance or facility upkeep tasks
  • Complete assigned tasks efficiently and accurately under supervision

Skills and Experience

Job Requirements:
  • You must be coachable because we want you to succeed!
  • Must be comfortable with working in a fast-paced manufacturing/production environment.
  • At least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • Must pass our multiday orientation class.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in accordance with federal and state law.
  • Must have dependable transportation to and from facilities, no exceptions.
  • Must be able to work various hours/holidays/weekends as required.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25–50 lbs.
  •  Comfortable working in cold, fast-paced environments.
  • Good attention to detail and manual dexterity.
  •  Prior experience in food processing or machine operation is helpful but not always required.
