Overview
The Machine Operator Level 1 is responsible for operating various machinery and equipment to produce stainless steel bars. This role involves following established procedures and quality standards to ensure efficient and safe operations.
Skills and Experience
- Machine Operation:
- Operate various machines, such as straighteners, peelers, polishers, and coil processing equipment to produce stainless steel bars according to specifications.
- Monitor machine performance and identify any issues or malfunctions.
- Make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal machine operation and product quality.
- Quality Control:
- Inspect finished products to verify compliance with quality standards, specifications, and customer requirements.
- Report any defects or non-conformities to the appropriate personnel.
- Safety:
- Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE, Hard Hat, Safety Glasses, Green Safety Vest, Steeled Toed Shoes with Metatarsal Guards).
- Report any safety hazards or concerns to the supervisor.
- Maintenance:
- Perform basic machine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, lubrication, and minor adjustments.
- Assist with preventive maintenance activities.
- Other Duties:
- Assist with other tasks as assigned, such as material handling, inventory management, and housekeeping.
