Key Responsibilities
- Equipment Operation: Set up, monitor, adjust, and clean dairy standardization equipment and processing lines.
- Testing & Quality: Perform in-process tests and make accurate adjustments to recipes or formulas to maintain product yields and specifications.
- Sanitation & Safety: Ensure all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), sanitary requirements, and chemical handling protocols are strictly followed.
- Packaging: Assist on the packaging or bottling lines as production dictates.
- Documentation: Record data accurately and report any deviations or equipment issues to management.
Requirements & Physical Demands
- Experience: High School Diploma or GED preferred, with past experience in the food and beverage industry strongly desired.
- Math Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
- Physical Strength: Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
- Environment: Capability to work in a fast-paced, wet environment with potential exposure to processing and cleaning chemicals.
