In this role, you’ll be at the heart of our operations, ensuring that our centrifugal chillers (up to 2000 tons), cooling towers, and water treatment systems deliver reliable cooling to our campus every day.

What You’ll Do

Take ownership of our chiller plant systems—operating, monitoring, and troubleshooting chilled water and cooling tower equipment.
Perform daily inspections and preventive maintenance to keep systems reliable and efficient.
Maintain proper water chemistry by testing, analyzing, and adjusting treatment levels.
Record and track system performance through logs and reports, ensuring compliance with ASME, NFPA, and OSHA standards.
Respond quickly to system alarms and emergencies, keeping operations safe and uninterrupted.
Collaborate with facilities staff and leadership to recommend improvements and ensure best practices.

Skills and Experience

3+ years of experience operating industrial HVAC systems (500+ ton chillers required).
Universal EPA Refrigerant Certification (must-have).
Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
Experience with cooling towers, water treatment, and preventive maintenance programs.
High school diploma or equivalent (HVAC technical school is a plus).
Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varied conditions (indoor/outdoor, weather, high-noise).
