Overview
The Receiving Lead is responsible for managing the receiving process, ensuring all incoming goods are accurately inspected, documented, and stored. This role also supervises receiving staff and helps maintain inventory accuracy and operational efficiency. Oversees the intake of incoming shipments in a warehouse, distribution center, or retail backroom. They combine hands-on receiving work with team leadership and coordination responsibilities.
