Overview

Job Summary
 The Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling, inspecting, and maintaining components and equipment used in plumbing, mechanical, or industrial operations. This role ensures all assemblies meet safety, quality, and performance standards while supporting efficient production processes. The shift times are 5:00am -2:00pm and 1:15pm- 10:30pm.

Key Responsibilities

  •  Assemble mechanical components and equipment according to specifications, and work instructions 
  •  Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments to complete assembly tasks 
  •  Inspect finished products to ensure quality and compliance with company standards 
  •  Identify and report defects, inconsistencies, or safety concerns 
  •  Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with safety regulations 
  •  Follow all company safety policies and procedures 
  •  Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines 
  •  Assist with equipment maintenance and basic troubleshooting as needed 

Skills and Experience

Job Duties: 
Assembly and/or packing of bath tub, sink and shower drains
Daily cleaning of work area and monthly plant cleaning
Other responsibilities as assigned
Willingness to learn and be great at your job
Attention to detail and accurate counting is a must
Team player and positive attitude
Attendance is EXTREMELY important - be at work and on time

Qualifications
  •  High school diploma or GED required 
  •  Previous assembly, manufacturing, or mechanical experience preferred 
  •  Ability to read and interpret diagrams, and instructions 
  •  Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality 
  •  Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills 
  •  Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods 
  •  Willingness to work in an industrial or outdoor environment if required
