Overview
We are seeking dependable team members who can perform both serving and bussing duties at special events. This role requires flexibility and a strong work ethic to support all areas of service and ensure a smooth event.
Location: Opelousas, LA
Pay: $10/hour
Schedule: Event-based
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a professional manner
- Clear and reset tables, remove trash, and maintain cleanliness
- Assist with event setup and breakdown
- Refill drinks and support overall service flow
- Work as a team to ensure successful events
Skills and Experience
- Previous banquet, catering, or restaurant experience preferred
- Strong customer service and guest interaction skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Experience carrying trays or working in food service is a plus
- Team-oriented mindset with a “jump in and help” attitude
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- Excellent time management and sense of urgency
- Reliable with strong attendance and punctuality
Requirements:
- Must be 21+
- Valid physical ID required (no LA Wallet)
- Must have a valid BAR Card/LRV (Responsible Vendor) Card
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25–30 lbs
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
