Overview
Job Summary:
The Warehouse Worker is responsible for handling, sorting, and processing cardboard materials within the warehouse. This role ensures that recyclable materials are properly organized, stored, and prepared for shipment while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sort, stack, and organize cardboard materials by grade and quality
- Operate basic warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and balers
- Load and unload cardboard materials from trucks and containers
- Prepare materials for recycling or shipment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Assist with inventory tracking and reporting as needed
Skills and Experience
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse or labor experience preferred but not required
- Ability to lift and move heavy materials (up to 50 lbs or more)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
