Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Customer Service Cashier to join our team. This role is responsible for providing excellent customer service while accurately handling cash transactions, processing payments for materials, and maintaining proper financial records. The ideal candidate has prior experience in banking, cash handling, or a similar financial environment and is comfortable working in a fast-paced, customer-facing setting.
Skills and Experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Accurately weigh, calculate, and process payments for materials
- Handle cash, credit, and other payment methods with a high level of accuracy
- Balance cash drawer and reconcile transactions at the beginning and end of each shift
- Maintain detailed transaction records and prepare daily reports
- Identify and resolve customer inquiries or discrepancies efficiently
- Follow company policies and procedures for financial transactions and security
- Keep the cashier area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in banking, cashiering, or money handling required
- Strong numerical and problem-solving skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to handle high transaction volumes in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems
