Overview
Onin Staffing has an excellent opportunity for an Electronic Technician in a manufacturing environment! We’re seeking an experienced 12-volt DC Electrician to assemble and install wiring, harnesses, and consoles in specialty vehicles.
Shift: Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and install electrical systems for emergency vehicles.
- Use various power tools, including compound miter saws, band saws, radial arm saws, routers, die grinders, and sanders.
- Perform precise measurements and cuts.
- Work with wiring harnesses, electrical consoles, and related components.
- Read and follow schematics, diagrams, and work orders.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Working Conditions
- Typical automotive manufacturing environment (hot/cold/dusty).
- Physical work requiring standing, kneeling, bending, and lifting to complete tasks.
- May require work inside vehicles in various positions and spaces.
Skills and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- 12-volt DC electrical experience required; automotive environment preferred.
- Prior work in automotive manufacturing or electrical/electronic systems is a plus.
- Must be able to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Strong work ethic, attendance, and reliability required.
- Must be able to work occasional overtime.
