Overview
The Forklift Operator will be responsible for safely moving, loading, unloading, and staging materials throughout the warehouse. This role plays a key part in ensuring shipments are accurately organized and prepared for timely distribution. Operators will work in a team-oriented environment focused on safety, efficiency, and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a forklift to move pallets and materials throughout the warehouse
- Load and unload inbound and outbound shipments
- Stage products for shipment and delivery
- Maintain organized and safe warehouse aisles and storage areas
- Verify and handle materials according to work orders
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed
- Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines
Skills and Experience
- Prior forklift operating experience required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to lift, move, and handle materials as needed
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
Preferred (Not Required):
- Roll clamp forklift experience
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience
- Experience handling palletized freight or bulk materials
