Overview
Onin Staffing is currently seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator for a local fabrication shop in Jacksonville. This role is responsible for preparing and operating production equipment, ensuring efficient setup, and maintaining high-quality output. This is a long-term, permanent opportunity with excellent benefits.
Shift – Mon – Fri, 2:30 pm – 11 pm
Pay - $18.00 pr/hr

What You'll Do as a Press Brake Operator:
- Prepare production equipment for operation by performing setup adjustments
- Assist with equipment changeovers to support production needs
- Operate press brake machinery safely and efficiently
- Troubleshoot production process issues and make necessary equipment adjustments
- Monitor machine performance to ensure consistent operation
- Accurately report production data, quality metrics, and decisions made during operation
- Communicate issues and escalate questions or concerns to the supervisor as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Skills and Experience
What You'll Bring as a Preferred Candidate:
· Previous experience operating press brake or similar fabrication equipment preferred
· Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings is a plus
· Stron mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
· Attention to detail and commitment to quality
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Willingness to work 2nd shift hours
