Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Framer to assist with building interior layouts and construction. This role requires experience in carpentry, drywall installation, and blueprint reading, along with the ability to work in a team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Frame and install interior building components
- Measure, cut, and install drywall and wall panels
- Tape, patch, and finish drywall surfaces
- Use and maintain hand and power tools
- Work at heights using ladders or scaffolding
- Troubleshoot construction issues on-site or in the shop
Skills and Experience
Requirements:
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
- 5+ years of carpentry experience preferred
- Knowledge of blueprint reading, construction math, and tool usage
- Experience with drywall installation and finishing
- Ability to perform physical tasks (lifting up to 50 lbs, kneeling, climbing, overhead work)
- Self-motivated and dependable
- Reliable transportation
- Willingness to travel if needed
- Availability for overtime and weekend work
