Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to support daily operations. This role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must be able to read a tape measure efficiently and accurately (to 1/16 inch) and perform basic math calculations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain open, honest, and professional communication with management and team members.
- Promptly communicate any needs or concerns related to training, safety, scheduling, inventory, supplies, or equipment to ensure timely resolution.
- Present a professional and courteous image to customers and the public at all times.
- Assist with opening the warehouse at the start of each workday to ensure readiness for operations.
- Assist with closing procedures at the end of each workday.
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner while providing excellent customer service.
- Unload delivery trucks using pallet jacks; verify items against packing lists, sign for deliveries, and stock materials in designated locations.
- Accurately package inventory for customer orders and deliveries.
- Load customer orders onto delivery trucks using pallet jacks and other material-handling equipment.
- Inspect delivery loads and vehicles prior to departure to ensure safety and accuracy.
Skills and Experience
Physical & Skill Requirements:
Ability to safely lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs throughout the workday.
Ability to squat, bend, and carry materials as needed.
Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment.
Experience using pallet jacks is preferred.
