Description
Onin has an immediate opening in a manufacturing facility in Auburn, AL. This is a 1st shift position with a payrate of $18-$22 depending on experience. Responsibilities include: Assist in operating injection molding machines and automation systems. Help troubleshoot minor mechanical, electrical, and process-related issues. Follow work instructions to load material, manage terminal scrap, and maintain machine records. Assist in mold changeovers and machine startup. Learn Red Rabbit procedures and perform tasks under supervision. Complete assigned tasks according to production schedules and safety standards.
Skills and Experience
Experience
3–5 years of experience in injection molding, robotics operation, and mold temperature controller operations in automotive manufacturing. Basic understanding of injection molding terminology, machine components, and common defects. Familiarity with hot runner systems and auxiliary equipment (mold controllers, material dryers, robots). Ability to assist with process issue analysis under supervision. Capable of assisting with mold changeovers and machine startup. Basic documentation skills for process records and quality reports. Good communication and teamwork skills. Professional degree in Injection Molding or related field preferred.
