Overview
· Able to work in busy environment where priorities can change at a moment’s notice, ability to multitask, and delegate as necessary.
· Maneuvering forklifts safely.
· Safely stacking and unstacking goods onto shelves or pallets.
· Ensure orders are accurately fulfilled, prepared, and shipped on schedule
· Unloading deliveries and safely relocating the goods to their designated storage areas.
· Reviewing shuttle list that is filled out by Line Leads and Supervisors.
· Picking orders accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring damaged cases are accounted for and the required paperwork is completed.
· Maintaining a clean and organized Warehouse.
· Monitor the performance of warehouse staff and provide guidance to meet productivity targets.
· Ensure FIFO is being followed.
· Coordinate with scheduler to ensure stock availability and manage reorder levels.
· Plan and schedule staff shifts and task assignments to optimize labor efficiency.
· Conduct performance reviews and address employee performance issues when needed.
· Responsible for ensuring warehouse team is accurately utilizing WMS,
· Collaborate with other departments to align warehouse operations and business objectives.
· Work OT and weekends when necessary.
Skills and Experience
· Sit-down and Stand-up forklift experience.
· Ability to use Standup Walkie Rider.
· 2+ years in a warehouse setting, picking experience a plus.
· Computer literate (Excel and Word), MRP systems a plus.
· Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, or overtime
· Excellent interactive and communication skills (written and verbal).
· Familiar with GMP’s, SQF, USDA or FDA and Safety Standards.
· Able to communicate with other team members and Manager.
· Ability to efficiently work independently.
· Excellent attention to detail.
· Strong organizational skills with a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines.
· Proficiency in ERP and WMS systems.
