What You’ll Do as a Shipping Associate (Loader/Unloader):
- Track and record incoming food products from production accurately
- Pick and prepare orders for outbound shipments based on daily schedules
- Safely move stacked plastic crates of food products using a hand truck, ensuring trailers are loaded and unloaded efficiently
- Move materials and equipment throughout the facility to support operations
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe shipping and storage areas
- Perform inventory counts and ensure product accuracy
- Follow all food safety, quality, and workplace guidelines
- Support team operations with additional tasks as needed
Skills and Experience
What You’ll Bring as a Preferred Candidate:
- At least 6 months of experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse work
- Ability to read, understand, and follow written instructions and safety procedures
- Comfortable working in a physically active role with frequent lifting and movement
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs regularly and move heavier wheeled equipment as needed
- Strong attention to detail when handling inventory and orders
- Dependable attendance and flexibility to work overtime
- Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to safety and quality standards
