A Staffing Recruiter is responsible for identifying, attracting, and hiring qualified candidates to meet the staffing needs of the organization or its clients. This role focuses on sourcing talent, managing the full recruitment cycle, and ensuring a positive candidate experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Source candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, networking, and other channels
 
Screen resumes and conduct phone and in‑person interviews

Write and post job descriptions across recruitment platforms

Conduct reference checks and facilitate background screenings

Present job offers and negotiate compensation when necessary

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and organizational hiring guidelines

Represent the company at job fairs, community events, and career expos

Skills and Experience

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to evaluate candidates’ qualifications quickly and accurately
Knowledge of recruiting strategies, sourcing techniques, and employment laws
Time‑management and organizational skills
Ability to work in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience in staffing, recruiting, or HR support
Familiarity with high‑volume recruiting
