Advanced Multi-Process Welder (All Metals)

Key Responsibilities

Perform welding using multiple processes including:
- MIG (GMAW)
- TIG (GTAW)
- Stick (SMAW)
- Flux-Cored (FCAW)
- Submerged Arc Welding (SAW) (if applicable)
Weld a wide variety of metals including:
- Carbon steel
- Stainless steel
- Aluminum
- Copper
- Brass
- Nickel alloys
- Titanium (preferred)
- Cast iron
Interpret and work from blueprints, welding symbols, and technical drawings
Set up, adjust, and operate welding equipment properly
Perform structural, pipe, sheet metal, and fabrication welds
Conduct pre-weld preparation (grinding, cutting, beveling, fitting)
Perform post-weld finishing and inspection
Maintain welding quality standards according to AWS, ASME, or client specifications
Perform repairs on damaged welds and metal components
Follow all safety procedures and OSHA guidelines
Maintain clean and organized work area

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of multi-process welding experience (3+ years preferred)
Proven experience welding multiple metal types
Ability to pass weld tests in various positions (flat, vertical, overhead, 6G pipe)
Strong blueprint reading skills
Knowledge of welding codes and standards (AWS, ASME preferred)
Ability to use measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, levels)
Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
