Overview

Onin Staffing is seeking a skilled Welder for an exciting opportunity in the Clayton, NC area. If you have experience with MIG, TIG welding, and structural steel work, this may be the perfect job for you! Join a dedicated team working on modular base frames and enclosure products while adhering to top-tier safety standards.

Monday to Thursday. Friday's as needed.
1st shift: 6am to 4:45pm.
Pay rate: $17-22/hr.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform structural steel welding using MIG, TIG, and arc welding equipment.
Use oxygen acetylene torches and plasma arc equipment to cut various thicknesses of steel.
Complete welding and assembly tasks according to specific blueprint dimensions.
Operate metalworking equipment (press brakes, drill presses, shears) and verify work specifications.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Skills and Experience

Requirements:

Experience in MIG, TIG, and arc welding.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, sketches, and assembly instructions.
Experience with oxy acetylene cutting equipment and various metalworking tools.
Ability to lift 50 lbs consistently and work 10-hour days (including weekends as needed).
Must have your own welding helmet and tools (chipping hammers, etc.).
Steel-toe boots, weld helmet, jacket, and gloves required.
Valid driver's license and ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
