Overview
• Sweep and mop all floors.
• Clean the interior and exterior of all windows, doors, and their hardware.
• Deep clean all appliances including refrigerators, stoves, microwave ovens, range
hoods, etc.
• Deep clean all cabinets, plumbing fixtures, bathroom accessories, sinks, showers,
commodes, etc.
• Clean all ceilings, ceiling tiles, light fixtures, air vents, exhaust vents, smoke alarms,
walls, etc.
• Dust and clean all office furniture and equipment.
• Vacuum all area rugs in offices.
• Collect and dispose of all trash in offices daily.
• Maintain all office dispensers including soap, paper towel, toilet paper, and air
fresheners.
• Clean and maintain all HVAC, electrical, and storage closets.
• Perform floor care including but not limited to stripping, sealing, waxing, and buffing.
• Maintain and use floor care power equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance inspections of buildings, equipment, and grounds.
• Assist with performing renovations as requested by the Facilities Manager to include
painting, refinishing, floor care, and follow-up cleaning.
• Keep inventory of cleaning supplies.
• Be responsible for all tools and equipment assigned.
• Keep the Facilities Manager informed of inventory items and supplies for reordering.
• Performs other duties and/or assignments as may be directed by the Facilities Manager.
Skills and Experience
A High School or G.E.D. diploma, or
One (1) year of progressively responsible experience in general cleaning.
Must have the ability to communicate effectively with management, coworkers, other
cooperative personnel, and the public.
Must be able to operate maintenance equipment assigned.
Must have the ability to communicate, verbally and in written form in English.
Must have a valid Texas Driver’s License.
Must be able to frequently lift, push, pull, or carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs. Must be able to
continuously stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and climb stairs or ladders. Must be able to
maintain a steady, active pace for 4-8 hours, covering significant distances in a shift.
