Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable and self-motivated individual for a full-time 3rd shift Industrial Cleaning Technician role. This position primarily supports paint room and washer operations within a manufacturing environment.
This role requires a high level of independence, accountability, and reliability. The right candidate must be comfortable working alone for extended periods and able to move through a structured written task list with minimal supervision.
A working Group Leader is available on shift for guidance; however, this position requires strong self-direction and time management skills.
Skills and Experience
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain paint room floors and surrounding areas
- Clean and maintain industrial washers and related equipment
- Follow detailed written task lists and complete assigned duties efficiently
- Move independently from task to task with limited supervision
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Support project-based overtime work when scheduled
Work Environment
- Small crew environment (2–3 team members per shift)
- Independent work with limited coverage flexibility
- Structured nightly task list
- Industrial manufacturing setting
Qualifications
- Strong attendance record (punctuality and dependability are critical)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Comfortable working alone for extended periods
- Ability to follow written instructions and complete tasks sequentially
- Reliable transportation
- Manufacturing or industrial cleaning experience preferred
Important Note
Due to the small crew size, consistent attendance is essential. This role requires a high level of accountability, as there is limited coverage available when team members are absent.
