Overview
The Powder Department Line Lead oversees daily operations of the powder blending and packaging line, ensuring production targets, quality standards, and safety guidelines are consistently met. This role requires leadership experience on manufacturing lines, strong coordination between blending and packaging teams, and familiarity with powder processing environments.
Skills and Experience
Key Responsibilities
- Lead powder blending and packaging line operations
- Supervise production team and assign daily tasks
- Monitor batch sheets and production schedules
- Ensure quality control and compliance with SOPs
- Maintain safety standards and OSHA compliance
- Train and support line employees
- Troubleshoot equipment and production issues
- Complete production documentation and reports
- Coordinate with Quality and Maintenance teams
Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing line lead experience
- Experience with dry blending or powder processing preferred
- Knowledge of GMP, ISO, and safety standards
- Ability to read batch records and work orders
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work 1st or 2nd shift
- Forklift experience preferred
