Welding Technician Needed in Hamilton Ohio!

Overview

We are looking for an experienced Welding Technician to become part of our manufacturing team. In this position, you will perform structural steel welding using MIG and TIG processes to fabricate modular base frames and enclosure systems. You will also use oxy-fuel torches and plasma cutting equipment to cut steel in a range of thicknesses. Working closely with a team of welders, you will help produce high-quality assemblies that meet blueprint requirements while adhering to safety regulations and ISO 9001:2015 quality standards.
Key Responsibilities

Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
Successfully complete a welding certification test.
Provide your own welding tools and personal protective equipment (helmet, chipping hammer, etc.).
Perform MIG, TIG, and stick welding on steel and aluminum components.
Interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions accurately.
Operate oxy-acetylene cutting tools and fabrication equipment such as press brakes, drill presses, and shears.
Inspect finished work to ensure it meets required specifications and quality standards.
Regularly lift materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
Work shifts up to 12 hours per day Friday through Sunday 6am-6pm.

Skills and Experience

Preferred Experience & Skills:
15 years of structural steel welding experience.
AWS D1.1 welding certification.
Familiarity with weld testing methods (e.g., dye penetrant).
Experience with framing and metalworking equipment (shears, brakes, etc.).
Proficiency with plasma arc cutting and laser measuring tools.
