Seeking a skilled Manual Lathe Machine Operator to support the production of high‑quality bronze and metal churchware ornaments. This role involves hands‑on machining, shaping, and finishing of detailed components used in ecclesiastical products.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate manual lathes to machine, shape, and finish bronze and metal parts.
- Read and interpret basic drawings, measurements, and work instructions.
- Perform precise cuts, turning, facing, drilling, and finishing operations.
- Inspect parts for accuracy, quality, and consistency throughout production.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work area to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Collaborate with production team to meet quality standards and deadlines.
Skills and Experience
- Prior experience operating manual lathes or similar machining equipment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort working with metal materials.
- Ability to measure accurately using calipers, gauges, and hand tools.
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high‑quality craftsmanship.
- Experience with bronze or ornamental metalwork is a plus but not required.
