Overview
Onin Staffing is hiring an Upfitter for a growing company that customizes work trucks and commercial vans. This is a hands on position ideal for someone who enjoys working with tools, building, and mechanical projects. If you have automotive, construction, maintenance, or assembly experience, this is a great opportunity to learn a long term skill.
Install shelving, ladder racks, partitions, toolboxes, and accessories in work trucks and vans
Drill, measure, and assemble equipment according to diagrams and work orders
Perform basic wiring for lighting, cameras, and electrical components
Mount safety equipment and storage systems inside vehicles
Use hand tools and power tools safely and accurately
Inspect completed installs to ensure proper fit and quality
Keep work area clean and organized
Skills and Experience
Mechanical aptitude or hands on work experience
Comfortable using hand tools and power tools
Ability to read a tape measure
Basic electrical or wiring knowledge is a plus
Assembly, automotive, construction, or maintenance experience preferred
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Reliable attendance and good attention to detail
