What you'll do as: Project Engineer I
- Assist the primary Engineer with the responsibilities in managing the engineering activities for the assigned projects
- Status work schedules for design, analysis, drafting and testing activities
- Review design reports
- Review internal specifications and test documents
- Aid with project action item registers for technical activities
- Review engineering drawings and change proposals
- Assemble inspection data sheets for all component drawing including interface critical dimensions
- Review manufacturing planning and procedures
- Utilizes SolidWorks to communicate ideas and convert concepts to approved models
- Acts as a technical liaison to manufacturing and testing.
- Compiles analytical reports and writes summaries of work.
- Assists with the design and analysis of proposed test fixtures.
- Renders technical assistance to other engineers and technicians
Skills and Experience
Preferred Candidate Might:
- Proficient in using SolidWorks
- Familiarity with GDT
- BS in Mechanical Engineering or related degree plus 0-2 years’ experience; or Graduate degree in Engineering and 0-1 years of experience; or 6-8 years related technical experience
