Overview
Ōnin Staffing is currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to support a fast-paced production environment. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining high product standards by performing thorough inspections and ensuring all units meet safety, quality, and functional specifications. This position is ideal for someone with a keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to stay focused while meeting daily production goals.
- Monday to Friday.
- 1st shift: 8am to 4pm.
- Pay rate: $15.00/hr.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect and document a minimum of 35 units per day to meet daily production goals.
- Perform detailed visual and functional inspections to identify defects, damage, or deviations from specifications.
- Use calipers, gauges, and other measuring/testing equipment to verify dimensions and tolerances.
- Maintain accurate electronic inspection logs, including pass/fail results and reasons for rejection.
- Report recurring quality issues or safety concerns promptly to the Warehouse Manager.
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards and all internal safety protocols.
- Follow all company policies and procedures related to quality and safety
Skills and Experience
- Prior experience in quality control, inspection, manufacturing, or warehouse environments preferred.
- Familiarity with measurement tools such as calipers and gauges is a plus.
- Experience with electronic documentation or inspection logs preferred.
Work Environment & Physical Demands:
- Fast-paced production or warehouse environment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive inspection tasks.
- Must be able to focus on detailed work while meeting productivity goals.
