Overview
As a Paint Assistant, you’ll play a critical role in supporting our skilled painters by preparing vehicles, mixing paints, and ensuring our high standards of quality. The ideal candidate will be familiar with automotive paint procedures, have an eye for detail, and be eager to learn and grow in the field of auto body painting.
Responsibilities:
Assist automotive painters in preparing vehicles for painting (cleaning, sanding, masking, etc.)
Mix and match paints according to company standards.
Ensure proper prep work is done on vehicles before painting begins.
Maintain and clean painting equipment and workstations.
Ensure a clean and safe working environment by following all safety guidelines.
Maintain a high level of attention to detail throughout each job.
Assist with minor touch-ups and final inspections.
Skills and Experience
- Prior experience in automotive painting or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot imperfections.
- Ability to work efficiently and follow instructions.
- Knowledge of proper paint techniques, materials, and tools is a plus.
- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
