What You'll Do as a Warehouse Lead:
- Oversee daily warehouse operations: receiving, picking, packing, shipping, inventory
- Lead and support associates to meet productivity and quality goals
- Maintain safety, SOP compliance, and housekeeping standards (5S)
- Coach, train, and develop team members while fostering a positive culture
- Track performance metrics, identify bottlenecks, and support continuous improvement
- Operate and troubleshoot WMS, scanners, and material-handling equipment safely
- Support system updates, testing, and operational projects as needed
Skills and Experience
What You'll Bring as a Preferred Candidate:
- 2–4 years in warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing with leadership or point-person experience
- Strong knowledge of warehouse processes, workflow, and WMS/RF scanners/MS Office
- Excellent communication, problem solving, and attention to detail
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. and stand for long periods
- Lean/process improvement (5S) experience, prior trainer or team lead roles, equipment certifications (forklift, reach truck, order picker), and ERP familiarity (SAP, Oracle, Blue Yonder, Manhattan) a plus
- Comfortable in a fast-paced warehouse environment with possible weekends, overtime, rotating shifts, and seasonal temperature changes
- Continuous improvement mindset with strong organization and leadership skills
