What You'll Do as a Machine Operator:
- Machine Operation: Setup, calibrate, operate, and monitor high-speed production machinery following standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
- Process & Quality Assurance: Perform regular quality checks, record downtime/production logs, and ensure batch consistency throughout the manufacturing run.
- Packaging & Material Staging: Assist in staging raw materials and packaging finished chemical/resin products into bags, totes, or drums.
- Basic Equipment Maintenance: Clean, inspect, and assist with routine basic maintenance and troubleshooting on production lines.
- Safety & Compliance: strictly adhere to all company safety guidelines, wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
Skills and Experience
What You'll Bring as a Preferred Candidate:
- Experience with fast-paced production environments
- Experience working in a HOT environment reaching temperatures in excess of 100 degrees
- Basic English reading, writing, and communication skills
- Basic Computer Skills and experience with Microsoft Excel
- Skilled with micrometers, tape measures (test required), and light meters for quality checks
- Strong attention to detail and safety mindset
- Ability to lift up to 45 lbs. and stand for 10–12 hours
- High School Diploma or GED
- Previous forklift and pallet jack experience is a plus (not required)
