What You'll Do as a 5-Axis CNC Lathe Machinist:
- Set up, operate, and troubleshoot 5-Axis CNC lathes
- Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and work instructions
- Monitor machine performance and make necessary offsets or adjustments
- Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring tools
- Maintain tight tolerances and high-quality standards
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals safely and efficiently
Skills and Experience
What You'll Bring as a Preferred Candidate:
- 1-5 years of proven experience operating 5-Axis CNC Lathe machines
- Strong blueprint reading and measurement skills
- Strong understanding of G-code and M-code
- Experience with CAD/CAM software (Mastercam, Fusion 360, Cimatron); preferred
- Familiar with various controllers (Fanuc, Haas, Mazak Matrix/Smooth, or Siemens Sinumerik)
- Experience working with tight tolerances and a wide range of materials (stainless, Aluminum, Titanium, Plastics, etc.)
- A detail-oriented, quality-driven mindset
- Dependable, safety-focused, and team-oriented attitude
