What You’ll Do as a Shipping & Receiving Clerk
You’ll manage incoming and outgoing shipments while maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting warehouse operations.
- Verify and record incoming merchandise and materials
- Track inventory and maintain accurate documentation
- Inspect received goods for damage or discrepancies
- Package, weigh, and prepare items for shipment
- Print shipping labels and postage
- Arrange transportation of products
- Distribute products to the appropriate departments
- Ensure correct packages are received and stocked properly
- Communicate with vendors and drivers professionally
- Maintain a clean, organized work environment
Skills and Experience
What You’ll Bring as a Preferred Candidate
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Forklift certification (required)
- 2–3 years of logistics or customer service experience
- Strong clerical and data entry skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- High attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills

- Basic math and computer skills
- Knowledge of warehouse operations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
