Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and self-motivated Machine Operator to join our production team. This role is critical to ensuring high-quality folding of printed materials, supporting various packaging and finishing stages. Ideal candidates will have a strong mechanical aptitude, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and be committed to quality and safety standards.
- 1st shift Monday to Friday 7am to 3pm.
- 2nd shift Monday-Friday 3pm to 11pm.
- Pay rate: $16/hr.
- Temp to perm.

Key Responsibilities
- Determine the appropriate folding method for each job and gather all required documentation.
- Set up folding equipment, including feeders, rollers, folding gates, slitters, and scorers.
- Source and prepare printed materials for folding.
- Monitor quality and size of folded leaflets throughout production.
- Box finished products for the next application or shipping stage.
- Follow all SOPs, GMPs, company policies, and safety standards.
- Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
Skills and Experience
- Background in printing production, packaging (pharmaceutical or food), or similar environments.
- Experience with gluing systems, glue detection systems, sensors, scanners, or vision systems.
- Proficient computer skills for accessing and understanding job specifications.
Competencies
- Strong counting, measuring, and attention to detail.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Capable of following written, oral, and verbal instructions.
- Comfortable interacting with managers, team members, and internal customers.
- Ability to read and interpret technical procedures.
Physical Requirements
- Able to lift up to 60 pounds with assistance.
- Able to bend, stoop, kneel, reach, twist, and stand for extended periods.
- Must be able to see, hear, count, and differentiate colors and positioning.
- Requires fine motor skills and the ability to perform repetitive upper-body motions.
