Overview
Job Summary:
We are seeking a TIG Welder to perform high-quality, leak-proof TIG welds on stainless steel water tanks. This role is strictly focused on running welds. No lifting, fabrication, fitting, or engineering experience is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- TIG weld stainless steel water tanks in all positions, including overhead
- Produce clean, consistent, leak-proof welds
- Run continuous weld beads following established procedures
- Weld in various body positions as required by tank configuration
- Perform visual inspection of completed welds
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Follow all safety and welding procedures
Physical & Position Requirements:
- Ability to TIG weld in all positions (flat, vertical, horizontal, overhead)
- Must be able to crawl, crouch, kneel, and work in low positions
- Work areas are not classified as confined spaces
- No heavy lifting required other than welding cables.
Skills and Experience
Requirements:
- Proven experience TIG welding stainless steel
- Ability to consistently produce leak-proof welds
- Strong attention to weld quality and detail
- Ability to follow basic instructions and repeat standardized processes. Work Environment:
- Controlled shop environment
- Parts and materials are staged and positioned for welding
- Repetitive, production-style welding tasks
- Experience welding tanks, vessels, or water-tight components
- Familiarity with stainless steel welding standards
