Welder

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing welding operations to fabricate metal components and assemblies using the MIG (Metal Inert Gas) welding process. This role involves working with a variety of materials and ensuring high-quality welds are produced in a safe and efficient manner. Key Responsibilities: Perform MIG welding on a variety of metals to meet project specifications and quality standards. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols. Set up welding equipment, ensuring it is in proper working order. Weld metal components using various welding positions (flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead). Inspect completed welds to ensure strength, appearance, and conformance to specifications. Work closely with supervisors and team members to ensure safety, productivity, and efficiency. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and procedures. Operate and maintain welding equipment and tools, making adjustments as necessary. Assist with material handling and preparation for welding tasks. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Certification in MIG welding from a recognized institution is preferred. Proven experience in MIG welding in a manufacturing or fabrication environment. Strong understanding of welding techniques, tools, and materials. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols. Detail-oriented with a focus on producing high-quality work. Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team. Ability to lift heavy materials and work in a physically demanding environment. Willingness to adhere to safety standards and guidelines.
