Onin Staffing is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Scale Room Operator to join our client's team. This role is essential in ensuring accuracy, quality, and efficiency in the milling process. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and the flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate effectively with farmers, truck drivers, and team members via CB radio, phone, and in person.
- Accurately record truck data in the company’s computer system.
- Grade incoming rice and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Operate and maintain sample milling machines; collect and evaluate rice samples.
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on milling machines.
- Maintain organized and accurate daily paperwork and documentation.
- Conduct manual probing of trucks as needed.
- Keep the scale room and surrounding areas clean, safe, and organized.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs and maintain good physical health.
- Willingness to work 40+ hours per week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; strong computer and data entry skills.
