Overview
The General Labor position is responsible for daily housekeeping and cleaning duties within our manufacturing building. This role plays a key part in maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient work environment by supporting line operators and ensuring all production areas remain clean and free of debris. Monday – Saturday 6:00 am – 6:30 pm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily housekeeping tasks, including sweeping, trash removal, and general cleaning of production areas.
- Keep workstations, walkways, and common areas neat, organized, and free of obstructions.
- Support line operators by maintaining cleanliness around equipment, material staging areas, and production lines.
- Assist with basic organization tasks, such as sorting materials and maintaining supply areas.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, reporting any hazards or concerns immediately.
- Complete any additional general labor or cleaning duties as assigned by supervisors.
Skills and Experience
Qualifications:
- Previous general labor or industrial cleaning experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dusty environment.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment, including standing, walking, and lifting to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean, safe workspace.
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or with a team.
- Bilingual is preferred but not required.
